Tucked away on the mountain ,yet only steps away to the beach. Splendid service, beautiful decor, stunning views. Buggy service quite prompt, meal reasonably priced (albeit lacking in choices of restaurants), and if ur lucky u can catch one of the free cocktails nights during happy hour.

Overall we were happy with the room but the service and food were stand-out. Private pools in the villas are a good size with shallow area perfect for young kids to play. Only con was that we didn't like the heavy sliding door to access the bathroom outside which was difficult to open/close. The staff were amazing and love to give your kids loving attention. Food is amazing! Despite only 1 restaurant we never got bored with the food options. The breakfast was superb and the Thai food truly on-point. We have already reco'd the hotel to many friends.
"Huge villa, exceeded expectations"

I thought the villa was perfect for our needs. We had 8 adults sharing 1 4 bedroom villa and we had more than enough space. The only downside was that the Laguna area is very far from anything. A Tescos express is only a 5 minute drive away and a full size one only 10 minutes away, but unless you rent a car, the taxis that are near the Laguna are VERY expensive. The villas are pretty far from the beach, but they do have shuttles.
"High-end location.....remote spot away from crowds"

Anantara offered a very high end stay in Thalang which is about the only quite beach in Phuket. The facilities are top notch, especially with access to the Anantara hotel directly across the street which offered many restaurants and a fabulous beachside pool and patio. It is very remote here though which we found a blessing compared to the rest of Thailand which is very busy and very crowded. The Marriot next door also offers many services as well. The only caution we make is that the complex is still under construction so at times it was a bit noisy, but given the beach and pools you won't hardly be in your room anyways.

The Indigo Pearl did not disappoint; decor and attention to detail paid designing this unique hotel make it a delightful destination. The Black Ginger restaurant is not be be missed for exactly this reason - being pulled across the lagoon/moat to the restaurant on a raft was a really surreal experience! The location was great - the beach is literally right across the road and the private beach club was very comfortable. My only complaint is that some of the design details - while aesthetically pleasing were really not functional, and detracted from the comfort of our stay. I stayed in a private pool villa, which had a VERY complicated lighting set up, none of which was labelled. It was impossible to figure out how to turn on and off lights in various parts of the villa and pool courtyard and we spent many frustrating minutes flipping on and off all of the switches. Similarly, the bathroom taps were lovely from a design perspective, but we actually had to call the front desk to figure out how to get water to come out of them! Finally, making the actual bed frame out of tin was definitely a step too far! Every time we rolled over in the bed the tin loudly snapped and banged and woke us up - totally not functional! We contemplated pulling the mattress off the frame and just sleeping on the floor, These inconveniences were balanced out by the lovely surroundings, incredible food and attentive and friendly service we enjoyed from the staff.
