With its many fashion boutiques and coffee shops, not to mention the charming old Polish Cathedrals, Lincoln Park is an upscale, cosmopolitan part of Chicago that's a delight to wander. The Chicago History Museum showcases vintage Americana, and then of course there's the park itself. Facing Lake Michigan, it offers beaches, wildlife trails and Lincoln Park Zoo, where you can see gorillas and polar bears free of charge.
A quaint suburb embodying the traditional charm of old-time America, Lombard is a far cry from the urban sprawl of the inner-city Chicago. It's known for its annual Lilac Festival and parade, and for the "Little Orphan Annie" house, where the red-headed character was dreamt up by Harold Gray. The nearby village of Oak Brook is even more idyllic, and known for its golf courses and polo club.
Forming part of the always bustling Michigan Avenue, Magnificent Mile is THE place to shop in Chicago. Swanky boutiques, upmarket department stores, and smart restaurants make it a must-visit, and landmarks to look out for include the epic Wrigley Building and the Chicago Water Tower, one of the few structures to survive the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The nearby River North district is famed for its many art galleries.
Home to the Civic Opera House, the Goodman Theater, and the Art Institute of Chicago, where American masterpieces can be found alongside Old Masters, the Loop is worth visiting just for the streets alone. Look up at some of the USA's most celebrated skyscrapers and the elevated trains hurtling along the "L", and then there's Grant Park – a gorgeously landscaped expanse with the huge Buckingham Fountain at its center.

My Dad and I recently spent two nights at this hotel. We were in Chicago to see a Blackhawks game. The hotel is less than one mile from the United Centre where the Blackhawks play. The hotel offers free shuttle services to the venue (pick up and drop off) as well as to other venues within a mile radius of the hotel. The hotel was modern and clean. The staff extremely helpful and went above and beyond what was required. While in Chicago my Dad (who's a fore chief) wanted to do some firefighting related sightseeing and purchase see CFD souvenirs. We were having difficulty locating suitable places to purchase the souvenirs so we asked the hotel staff where we could find some. None of the staff that day knew of where to purchase souvenirs but contacted another hotel employee who also works with the CFD. This employee came in on his day off to provide my Dad with a few souvenirs to bring home. This was an incredibly nice gesture! All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would recommend staying at this hotel while in Chicago.
"Rooms were Huge and Cheap"

It was perfect! The staff are more the happy to help you, they put my friends and I all on the same floor giving 2 of us upgrades, for the same price, to allow us all to be on the same floor. The front desk suggested great places to eat and visit and were really friendly. The suits were very spacious and accommodating with full kitchens, and a washer and dryer. The free breakfast was great with lots of variety to choose from along with a make your own waffle station. Prime location to enjoy what Chicago has to offer and if your partying only a few blocks away from the bars. Rooms were clean and were cleaned every afternoon. The rooms were cheap and If you can get over the fact that there was no pool or spa then it is the perfect place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel this past week-end in Chicago and it was a great deal. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and the staff were courteous and helpful. The best part was by far the 24hr free access to coffee, tea, hot chocolate. So nice especially in the winter time! Just off Michigan avenue but you can walk everywhere. Highly recommended!
