Australia’s biggest banana


Coffs Harbour’s landmark the Big Banana, offers not only culinary delights like banana fritters or choc-coated bananas, but also a “bunch of fun” for the whole family. There’s a laser tag game, water park, 650-meter toboggan run, and even an ice-skating rink.

Animal encounters in Coffs Harbour


The Coffs Coast offers you and the family a host of opportunities to get close to local wildlife. A walk on Muttonbird Island takes you into the wedge-tailed shearwaters’ breeding grounds, and it’s a good vantage point for spotting dolphins and whales. The Solitary Islands Aquarium lets you meet clownfish and many other species that inhabit the marine park.
