"No toiletries, didn’t feel safe, it’s in a corner of the town that is hidden and hard to find. It was sketchy. There’s a net on the roof of the bathroom so anyone can come see inside from above; no privacy. People can see inside through the curtains. The staff were nice. Definitely not worth it for the price!!!"

"It is a good location, a tuk tuk offers easy and quick access to Pettah market (fascinating and bustling), Colombo Fort Station (the main train station) and the beach area with modern hotels (although somewhat lacking in Sri Lankan atmosphere). The room was spacious, air conditioned and clean, with en suite rooms supplying shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. The meals (both dinner and breakfast) were yummy. "The breakfast was cooked to order by the hotel chef. Any issues the front desk manager solved them immediately. Very helpful getting Ubers and providing valuable information. TV was great and room was excellent. Would stay there again! "

"Amazing stay at what used to be the president’s mansion. Located in Colombo 7 with most of the embassies and other mansions. Staff were wonderful and the room was huge. Deep bath with jets provided too. "

"It’s a house near the national museum in an area with many embassies. We arrived during cyclone ditmah so there were lots of fallen trees and water but still found it walkable. Staff were friendly and able to arrange tuktuk ride. Breakfast was our first experience of Sri Lankan food and was serviceable in retrospect. There are many cafes nearby. "
