How to get to Phoenix

Phoenix is well-served by Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, a huge hub of worldwide aviation based a mere 3 miles east of Downtown. This airport serves dozens of domestic flights from top US cities like Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. It also provides year-round direct flights from international cities like London, and Mexico City. From the airport, it’s quick and cheap enough to catch a cab Downtown, but there’s public transport available too. If you’re hiring a car, hop on a free airport shuttle to the off-site rental. The city itself is very car-centered, but there is a limited public transport network of buses and light rail.
