Roosevelt Park is a leafy outdoor attraction with a large concrete skate park, well-maintained bike trails, and hidden shelters where you might spot a wedding or outdoor concert. There’s even a miniature railway that chugs around the park to the delight of visiting children. With the Air Force base being a major part of the city, you might want to learn more about planes throughout the ages, and in the Dakota Territory Air Museum, all kinds of restored aircraft are on display, as well as hanging from the ceiling so you can appreciate the engineering that has gone into them.
