Surrey Hotels

Separated from Vancouver by the Fraser River; Surrey is divided into 6 main areas, with the business district overlooking the calm blue waters. It’s a city that’s perfect for shopaholics, with several large malls and roads lined with strip malls tempting you inside. Locals are also enthusiastic about their outdoor spaces, with impressive golf courses and wooded areas, full of amenities to keep families entertained.

Things to see

The sprawling Guilford Town Centre offers 2 levels of department stores, boutiques, and branded shops, most of it underneath an impressive atrium. There’s also a food court with dozens of options, allowing you to refresh before continuing your shopping spree. If you prefer outdoor pursuits, head to the Morgan Creek Golf Course which offers acres of rolling hills and private, wooded areas to ensure a relaxing tee time. Guildford Golf and Country Club also hosts an impressive golf club with views of the snow peaked mountains, and a cozy club for socializing after the game. Family fun can be enjoyed at Bear Creek Park, with a miniature train chuffing around the perimeter, fountains to cool off under on hot days, and a mini golf course where kids can learn the basics. More outdoor fun can be found at the Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre, a park with large, open, grassy spaces and walking paths, with events such as charity runs, concerts, and fairs being held within its beautiful surroundings.
