"I very much enjoyed my stay at Vila Galé! The staff were excellent from check in to check out, the property itself is beautiful in an old, but updated colonial property. I stayed in one of the apartments right beside the pool and terrace, and even while you were situated with a walkway outside the room, I felt safe and comfortable enough to open the windows wide and take a nap or do whatever within the room. "Was very apprehensive about staying in Lapa but after arriving I felt so much better. The hotel is in a perfect spot which made it easy to see Santa Teresa, the Lapa arches and sample local nightlife in Lapa. The staff were all so helpful and made our stay perfect.
