Hotel Willo (formerly YWCA Hotel Vancouver)

Hotel Willo (formerly YWCA Hotel Vancouver)
2.5 star property
Downtown Vancouver, 4.3 km from Queen Elizabeth Park
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (3,464 reviews)
"We had a wonderful experience at the Willo Hotel! And...my car fit in the parking garage. (Height max is under 6' 8" or 203.2 cm, in case you are wondering). The hotel is right next to the stadium and within walking distance to an amazing collection of restaurants in the Yale district. The area feels safe. You are also within a short walk of a Costco if you have something you forgot to bring. Not too far from water taxis. I will be back."

"Really good base to explore Vancouver. Decent size room with sofa and the window opened which personally I really like! Clean room. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food, but it’s in a great location with the city on your doorstep and easy access to the water. Only criticism is that there were no towels provided in the swimming pool changing rooms when we went down to swim, so we just decided not to bother. Pool looked nice though. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a great stay at the Burrard. The room was well appointed and comfortable. It was great to have complementary bottled water and Nespresso coffee daily. The nightly complementary crisps and non-alcoholic cocktails were a nice touch. The inner courtyard garden was lovely. The major plus was the completely bike hire - the hotel has a decent amount of good quality bikes which could be used for as long as we wanted; we used them to cycle to and around Stanley Park. "This is a nice property in a very convenient location, close to False Creek and the Aquabus. It’s also a short walk to English Bay and the Vancouver beaches. The staff were very courteous and efficient. The rooftop common kitchen is a nice touch, though I did not have time to use it.
