The nearest major transportation hub is Edmonton. If you’re flying to the area you’ll likely head to Edmonton International Airport, which has connections to most major Canadian and US cities, and to Central American destinations, as well as some European cities. It’s a 40-minute drive to Westlock from the airport, and you can rent a vehicle from one of the major on-site agencies. Car rental firms also operate in central Edmonton. Hwy 44 links Edmonton to Westlock, while Hwy 18 heads across town towards Barrhead in the west and Clyde in the east.
