Wild Water Kingdom is a sprawling, colorful waterpark where flumes take you on twists and turns, or you can simply float along the lazy river. It’s popular with kids, and you’ll no doubt hear many squeals of delight in the background, especially from those who choose to brave the fastest, longest face-first zipline in the country. Further thrills are found at the Powerade Centre, where local ice hockey team Brampton Beast take on rival teams. The ice in the area is often thawed to make space for baseball games and rock concerts, making the most of the cavernous space. The silver-domed Pearson Convention Centre features quality, luxurious convention space, and is the site of many weddings, corporate events, and specialist shows, with 6 halls that can be combined to host hundreds of attendees. In the downtown area you’ll find the Rose Theatre, an imposing structure with huge windows. Inside, the semi-circular seating arrangement allows for great views, and the stage hosts internationally renowned acts, family-friendly shows, and local comedians. The Century Gardens Arena is a modern recreation center set over 2 floors, with the arenas hosting local and amateur sport teams, as well as facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, and community rooms.

How to get to Brampton

Brampton Bramalea Station is just north of the downtown area, offering commuter services to Toronto that take about an hour and a half. There’s also a GO and Via Rail service from Brampton Station which conveniently located downtown, with express routes taking you into Toronto in less than an hour. Brampton Mount Pleasant Station is in the western area of the city, and also has commuter services to Toronto taking an hour or less. Travelers who arrive at Toronto Pearson International Airport will be able to pick up a hire car or cab and be in Brampton in 20 minutes, or take the Brampton Airport Express bus, which will get you downtown in about 25 minutes.
