The Leduc #1 Energy Discovery Center is the town's most famous landmark and attraction. This interactive museum brings to life the story of Alberta's remarkable oil boom, and is where you'll find the world's largest drill. Dr. Woods House Museum is a beautifully restored Art Deco private house, which was home to one of Leduc's first doctors. Today it houses a delightful collection of vintage artifacts and everyday items, which give visitors an insight into affluent life in the first half of the 20th century. Leduc Recreation Centre boasts an extensive range of sporting and leisure facilities. Here you'll find a fantastic aquatic center with multiple pools, a water slide, whirlpool, hot tub, and steam room; a state-of-the-art fitness center offering a diverse range of training programs and classes; an adventure-filled indoor playground for kids; plus cooking program, activities for teens, and much more. Fred John's Park is where you'll find Leduc Reservoir, an extremely popular fishing spot which teems with Rainbow Trout and Pike.

How to get to Leduc

Edmonton International Airport is situated in Leduc County. It receives daily flights from many Canadian and US cities, plus international destinations including Cancun, London, and Reykjavik. Car hire is available at the airport, and from here it's just a 5 minute drive to Leduc city center. Alternatively, the town is roughly a 2 hour drive from Calgary International Airport, which receives non-stop flights from many additional international destinations, such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Paris.
