How to get to Summerside

The nearest airport to Summerside is Charlottetown Airport, situated less than an hour’s drive away. A small airport and the only one on Price Edward Island, those flying in may have to make a connecting flight. This is easily done however, with frequent services to major airports including Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International and Toronto Pearson International, and seasonal flights to John F. Kennedy International in New York. Once you’ve touched down a private shuttle or bus can whisk you to Summerside. Trius Transit operates the 7.5.3 County Line Express bus, which travels between Charlottetown and Summerside, and takes around an hour.
