The permanent collection features over 10,000 exhibits, displayed on a rotational basis, and you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of some rare artefacts from the biggest names in Rock, including Beatles records and Elvis memorabilia. When you’ve had a dose of Port Hope culture, get outside and enjoy its natural attractions. Head to the Port Hope Marina, where you can wander the waterfront trail, or watch the boats skid about on the lake while enjoying a drink. In the evening, you can enjoy a performance at Capitol Theatre. From the airport, the best option is to hire a car, and the drive takes about 80 minutes. The town is exceptionally welcoming to out-of-town motorists, offering free day parking passes to visitors, which can be picked up at the Visitor Centre. There are ample parking spaces in downtown. There are also regular bus services from Toronto to Port Hope, and a local bus network around town.
