Summerland Museum and Archives details the city’s story from the start. With a trove of artifacts and exhibits, the museum features the original Kettle Valley Railway ticket booth, along with a replica 1920’s kitchen, bedroom, and parlor.

How to get to Summerland

Penticton Airport is Summerland’s nearest gateway and serves the Okanagan region with a small handful of flights, with services to Vancouver International. The airport of choice for most visitors however is Kelowna International, situated just an hour's drive away from Summerland. It’s particularly well connected, with links to Tacoma-Seattle, Calgary, and Toronto Pearson international airports. Summerland is also reachable via the Greyhound bus line, which makes a stop at the Greyhound Station in the city center. For those driving in, Highway 97 runs straight through the city, coming south from Kelowna and north from Penticton.
