"Excellent customer service. Breakfast was abundant with lots of fresh fruit options. Room was cleaned daily was fresh bedding and towels. The area is vibrant and safe with a lot of food and shopping options. There is a mall just across the road. "

"Convenient and clean. Fantastic breakfast!"

"Staff is super nice. Location is very good. I recommend it "

"This is an older hotel, but it is clean and well run. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is consistent and has several options. This place is a really good value. "

"Good comfortable stay. "

"Very nice place!!! Safe and the breakfast was espectacular every day"

"Nice location close to restaurants etc."

"Lovely old heritage hotel - could do with a bit of an update, but would rather spend less and have less flashiness. Such incredibly good value - for a central location, metres / feet from the subway - heated pool and steam room, large rooms with separate dining nook and bar fridge, basic breakfast buffet included; the usual WiFi, TV and AC - and excellent service. This will be my go-to for future trips to Rio."

"Hotel bem localizado no Flamengo com comércio, bares próximo ao metrô do Catete e Largo do Machado. Café da manhã simples sem muitas opções mas custo benefício vale a pena"

"Perfectly spotless room, very courteous staff"

"This is an excellent place to stay and the staff is very nice."

"The breakfast was fantastic from the quality to the variety. The air con was great as well."

"Our 4th stay at MGallery and it doesn’t disappoint due to the helpful staff, cosy rooms, pool and excellent food. Santa Teresa’s a lovely oasis in Rio’s suburbs, yet within easy reach of all its attractions."

"Lovely stay in Botafogo. Larissa at the front desk was very helpful, as was all of the staff. We were lucky to have a corner room with a gorgeous view of the bay and Sugar Loaf. You can see Christ from the rooftop, which has a bar and food and a pool. Easy to Uber anywhere from here. There are Nespresso machines in the rooms with a charge per pod. We would stay here again!"

"Good location - close to Lapa, Gloria and Cinelândia. You can walk to Flamengo beach and Gloria Marina for a boat ride. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the shower is hot with excellent water pressure. The breakfast is good. "

"It was ok, it’s a historic hotel, with some small problems, but is clean, with confort, with a simple but ok brakfast and people with nice behaviour. The location is good, with metro station at door and a beautiful Museum and Park in front."

"A real gem of a hotel. Lovely spacious rooms off the beating track but so easy to walk to key venues, catch tram and train or taxi called for by wonderful reception. Staff so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend a stay if visiting Rio…. I don’t think I would have been as adventurous if staying in the busy parts of town "

"Very simple, but central hotel close to the airport Santo Dumont in Rio de Janeiro. Some good places to eat and bars around. Good value for money. Don't expect the same quality as in Europe. Need some refreshing... "

"Everything was perfect. Beautiful room. Claudio, Sophia and all the staff were extremely helpful, organising our trips and booking taxis and transfers for us. The breakfast was amazing, different every day. The hotel is an oasis in a busy city. Would definately recommend staying here"

"The staff were very friendly and courteous. The area of the resort was Sant Teresa which is an artsy area and easy to get around. Transportation is very easy to get around with uber and trolly. "
