Holland Park Introduction

Located in Surrey, British Columbia, the 10-hectare Holland Park is often referred to as the city's "Central Park". This urban park offers picnic grounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and a playground. It also features the Holland Gardens, a year-round horticultural attraction with tree-lined paths, public art, and water features; this part of the park can even be used for intimate wedding ceremonies. There's an adequate selection of accommodation options in Surrey, including inns and hotels within a few kilometres of Holland Park, and you'll also find more lodging choices in nearby New Westminster.

Hotels near Holland Park

The relaxed inns and hotels near Surrey's Holland Park are easy on the pocket. Some of them have barely any facilities, while others give you access to indoor or outdoor pools, or gyms that stay open round the clock, so you can keep up with your fitness regimen while on holiday. If you want to score the most affordable Holland Park hotel deals, you can schedule your trip in December or January, as room rates tend to plummet during winter. So does the temperature, however, so be prepared for below-zero readings.

Where to stay near Holland Park

Accommodation near Holland Park is generally situated along King George Boulevard and 104 Avenue. These options range from unpretentious inns with limited amenities, to casual hotels with wellness facilities such as indoor or outdoor pools, fitness centres, and even full-service spas. Some of the venues provide breakfast, Wi-Fi, and parking at no cost. You can also consider staying in the city of New Westminster, about 7 kilometres from Holland Park. Located on the other side of the Fraser River, New Westminster is the oldest city in Western Canada. Its attractions include the colonial-era Irving House and the waterfront Fraser River Discovery Centre.

For a dose of culture, you can make your way to the Historic Stewart Farm, about 25 minutes' drive from Holland Park. The well-preserved farm dates from 1894 and gives visitors a glimpse of how pioneers lived at the turn of the 20th century.
