"The hotel is located at a perfect location near of place de arts and Montreal Jazz festival venues only 8 minutes walk, we love it, the staff is amazing above and beyond, the spa included super nice sauna and steam shower, the super expresso machine for coffee available all day is a plus and also the pastry. Love the entire property eco friendly and modern at the same time. Next time we come to Montreal definitely stay at Boxotel again."

"Hotel is located in excellent location across from Palace de Arts - lots of events. Also connected to large mall, metro and underground city. Staff was super friendly and breakfast buffet had a blend of American and European breakfast. Delicious!"

"Friendly and attentive staff. Room was simple, but spacious and clean. It's an older apartment renovated and converted to a hotel. We didn't use the kitchenette but it was nice to have a fridge, microwave, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. available. Breakfast was a lot better than expected--croissants, Montreal-style bagels, boiled eggs, fruit etc. Metro stop is conveniently less than a 5 minute walk away. Parking garage ramp is steep and narrow, but if you drive carefully it's not so bad....

"Excellent location in Chinatown. Many restaurants within walking distance. Old Town and Old Port is also a close walk. The metro stop is also steps away, perfect for exploring the city. Rooms were spacious and clean. Free breakfast was great although it gets busy so going early is important. Would stay here again when in Montreal!"

"This is a really nice hotel conveniently located on the edge of Montreal's Chinatown. So, you can bet that you will find some of the best cuisine in the city. I also like that a metro station is located across the street from the hotel. The rooms are nicely appointed and well stocked with amenities. The available breakfast was quite good and had a good variety of foods. Overall, a great stay."

"It’s in the best location in the old port, by the river in one side and famous St Paul shops and architecture on the other side. You can literally step outside your door and you have museums for adults and kids, not to mention the restaurants and mini grocery stores. The place is large and fully equipped for cooking and laundry. It was our second stay and we will be back again."

"Another great stay at Bakan Palais Des Congrès. The suite (1bdr, 2 Queens + sofa bed) was accurate to the pictures on the listing. The suite was clean and well stocked, with the exception of missing tea towels/wash cloths or even paper towels. The only complaint was the mess due to slush as soon as you walk in the doors on the street level. It was extremely slippery on the marble tiles. Other than those two small issues, the stay was perfect."

"Staff so nice, will recommend where can we visit. Parking is opposite underground car park. Is not from hotel, can pay 10 hours or overnight. Breakfast with apple/orange/bread/ yogurt/water & coffee. But the only things I don't like is if you don't close the waskroom door. You will smell sewage all the time. And power cut off every night around 10 pm when we stay two nights. Just runs out couple minutes. But I don't expect it will happen in the hotel. "
