Great stay, nice room with great bathroom. Breakfast not a huge choice but what they had was v good and lovely coffee. Hassar Grill on site is also really good with great service. Will be back!

wonderful stay
weekend away at the hotel was amazing from the time of check in to departure the staff couldnt do more for me,
they really made me feel very welcome.
even the cleaning staff were very friendly.

Happy holiday in Franschhoek.
Friendly, efficient staff, lovely room, excellent location in beautiful Franschhoek, excellent food. Hussars Restaurant has a wide menu and everything we were served was delicious. Great wine range, fair prices and jammed with happy customers, a great vibe.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous town. It was well managed, had a great restaurant attached (that also served breakfast). Rooms were well appointed and huge as were the bathrooms. Overall no complaints, just about perfect.

This is a beautiful hotel, close to the shops and restaurants in Franschhoek. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent. The swimming pool was a reasonable size. There is a secure car park. Highly recommended.

Hotel is nice but there aren’t enough seating areas around the pool, in particular sun beds. Rooms facing the road are a little noisy and dark. Breakfast area is dated and tired - it’s a nice hotel, polite staff but it’s looking a little dated

Pick a room at the courtyard or at the back. The front rooms are nice but the road can be a bit noisy and there was construction work across the road which did not help

It is an awesome property, but keep in mind that the Protea Chain in South Africa is not well integrated with Marriott. You need to get a paper receipt and apply for points later.
