This hotel feels like a hostel. Dirty walls, linoleum floors, which I guess are meant to facilitate….cleaning spills of whatever kind? institutional hallways, dirty fixtures in the bathroom…everything I would expect from a hostel, and if they were renting these rooms for 35 euro, they would be perfectly fine. I paid several times more than that though, and even though I had an opportunity to back out when I arrived, who wants to pivot from checking in to trying to find a hotel? The property is in a fun area, but you could say the same thing if you were standing outside in the rain. You’re not thinking ‘such a fun area!’
The staff is engaged in (I guess pleasantly) hard-selling various tourist offerings for which it is hard not to assume they receive kick-backs. In general, though I made my piece with it, this place is to be avoided. In a sea with many fish, this is a floating Coke can.
