Comfortable beds and room.
The room was WONDERFUL! Nice large room with comfortable beds.
Parking was the only downside. We had to park on the street, but it was still close to the room. You can hear the truck noise but it wasn't bad.
Would definitely stay there again.

Such a charming little hotel. Loved the keys being on the wall and not having to check in or out with a person. We stayed in a room on the backside and never heard a sound from outside or the people in other rooms. The room had new carpet, bedding was nice, and the room was clean. Towels were so fresh, not like the big chains. Loved staying here, would stay again!!

We ate at Bodie Mike’s, which was one block down. It was good with great service.
Area was nice and overlooked Mono lake.

Clean and comfortable. Quick access to Yosemite. Updated shower with great water pressure. Basic rooms but all you need to get you close to the park entrance!

Enjoyed our stay!
Great stay! Located conveniently outside Yosemite. Room was very comfortable and was all we needed for our short stay. Nice restaurants in the area. Rooms are located right by the road so there will be a bit of road noise at night. Only real complaint was the shower had no hot water. Other than that it was a good place to stay for the night.

Clean and simple
Clean and simple for a quick over night before heading up to Yosemite NP. Bathroom have been nicely updated for an older property. Beds were comfortable. No AC but each room had a fan and as soon as the sun sets temps drop quick to cool off the room. Check-in/out was easy.

Overall good. I had stayed there before and got a spacious room with bath. I need a bath after long walks to take care of my back. the booking system did not seem to specify that I had booked a room with a bath and not a shower. I asked to change. The front desk person was picky about it and told me there were no vacancies. It seems that a few more towels could be added to the room, a box of kleenex and better shower products. They were cheap.

Look- This is a quick in/quick out place to stay. No frills, no extras. Getting in with self registration was quick and easy. Getting out was equally so. The room we had did not have shades on the east facing windows so we were in bright light by 5:00 am. Otherwise, it was a place to stay and then move on.

Room was clean. Bed comfortable. If you stay here, two things:
(1) Ask for room #7 or #8 if traffic noise bothers you.
(2) Motek is NOT air conditioned. We stayed onwme night. Outside was in 90's at check ib. A room fan is only cooling option. Fortunately since Lee Vining is in mountains, ambient temp dropped quickly after sunset (into high 50's). Still, room windows had to stay open.
This motel is like what America considered normal in the 1950s. Staff were friendly .
