This is the strangest place I’ve ever stayed. There is no front desk or check-in. You are just expected to arrive between four and six and someone somehow shows up and shows you your apartment.
The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous but if you arrive via taxi you were going to have a long walk to any restaurants or grocery stores.
We were told that the closer walkable restaurants were closed on Wednesday, so we walked 40 minutes mostly uphill to the other town and had a good meal.
On our way back, we stopped in the beautiful little town right on the lake and the restaurant was open after all?!
I think if we had visited with a car our experience would have been better.
The overall feel of the place, despite the beauty, was just very odd, and I won’t stay there again.

An absolutely beautiful property, tucked in to the side of the mountain amongst the vineyards. The views out the windows look right over Lake Geneva and we were able to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises of our lives! The staff was super friendly in helping us get situated and recommended some great things to do while in the area. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Very nice property with a great host. We loved the location right in the vineyards and right off the Lavaux hiking trails. Room had a kitchen which is a bonus, made some meals here as food is quite expensive in Switzerland.

Great experience
Wonderful old, well cared for chateau. Wine was excellent and the beds were the most comfortable in Switzerland. The difficult part is getting there. If by car ask for the directions well in advance of your trip. If by train, do not get off in St Saphion. You must get off in Vevey and catch a cab. It is way too steep and too many stairs to try to walk.

Beautiful property
The property was beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. It's a little tricky parking as it's very narrow, but so worth it. I would definitely go back.

Lovely vinyard
Lovely property and friendly staff. Roomy apartment. Close to town but far enough away to be secluded. Beautiful views of Lac Leman and the vinyard, which goes for a long way around.

A true home away from home. I will return again.
This B&B is the essence of the Swiss wine country living. Perched right above the town of St. Safforin and only a short train ride from Vevey and Montreux I found this place to be everything I wanted and more. Anne and her staff were excellent. All of our accommodations were first rate. Access to laundry and dining area's as well as local wine available right on the premises made this stay extremely pleasant. I'm already anticipating my return. I love B&B Burignon. It holds a special place in my heart. Thank you Anne for making it the best.

This B&B is working winery set on a hill across from Lake Geneva. It's a perfect mix of old and beautiful with modern.
