A little piece of home
Our stay was very pleasant! It was great to have the room of an apartment after many small hotel rooms; 2 bathrooms! We also bought groceries from the nearby market and made dinner in the kitchen which was a nice break from restaurants all the time. The apartment was very stylish and within walking distance of the Vatican.

Never again using this site
I made this reservation on March 3. On April 15 AND June 3 I sent a message to the owner asking for info on how to arrive at the property and received no answer. We left for our trip on June 6 and did not have cell service while in Italy and WiFi was spotty. On June 10 they sent me a message which I left to read for day we arrived in Rome, thinking they were instructions on how to arrive at the unit. On June 14 on my way to Rome with strong Train WiFi, I opened the email and realized that they had CANCELED my reservation and that I needed to find another location. We were stuck at the train station with 10 people (including small children and seniors) on our way to Rome without a reservation. I begged them to help me but they said that there was nothing they could do. We called Hotels.com and they did not know about the cancellation. They kept confirming that we had the place when in fact we did not. We spent nearly 6 hrs on the phone with Hotels.com trying to find accommodations and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was done by them. We end up finding a last minute place at a hostel near the train station which was $900 more than the initial place. The hostel had a curfew of 11:30 because of the bad neighborhood we were in- prostitutes, thieves, homelessness. We will NEVER use Hotels, Expedia, or Trivago again. The way they treated us was a disgrace. How do you leave 10 people stranded in an unfamiliar city without any assistance?! Consider another site when booking your stay!
