Underwhelmed stay
The room itself was lovely, clean and had everything you needed. The lack of hotel experience and the location were a let down. The apartments were not the most attractive from the outside and the noise from other guests was loud. The location, although conventiently just on the edge of the centre, was underwhelming and did not feel comfortable to walk alone, especially if you are a woman travelling alone or with a friend. Unless you are looking to book endlesss day trips out of Sofia it really is a one night stop gap for onward travel.

Very good for price point.
Clean and functional, appropriate for the price point. Clear communication meant the lack of reception wasn't an issue at all. Rooms had a kettle (no tea/coffee), fridge, hairdryer, TV and air conditioning. Location is around a 20min walk from the tourist centre - not a difficult walk but be aware you are a little further out than a lot of other properties.

Lovely stay!
Lovely apartment. Clean and spacious. Not far from the main attractions. Within walking distance. The owner was there to help us, which was really nice. It’s a lovely quiet street. Wi-Fi can improve, was very weak.
