Spectacular Setting!
What a Spectacular Setting! I was fortunate enough to have a dream come true and actually stay in the Castle! The views from my room were stunning! The show was "Out of this World"...it was originally Jackson Palmer's! The Manager, Cayley, and Sidney GENUINELY care about their Guests and do everything they can to make your stay magnificent! They succeeded! The breakfast was delicious and the Bookstore and Coffeeshop great. I had such a peaceful stay. I was filled with joy and wonder! This is such a special place...I highly recommend you experience it!

Beautiful Grounds
The Glen View Lodge was back of the property, which made it very quiet. The breakfast buffet at the castle was delicious. Plenty of wild life on the property.

Best location & very friendly staff
Great location and very friendly staff. Best breakfast buffett serving up to 4 people per room. Big-Horn lodge is facing the castle & rose garden, and sits on rocks, great scenes from the room window. We also see 3 big-horn sheep while driving in the castle! The castle tour & rock tour is a bonus for the stay.

Unexpected gem!
This place was so lovely! The staff was really friendly, the room was quiet, the complementary breakfast was delicious!! The grounds have private hiking trails which were great - no driving required! I do recommend wearing pants if you hike.

Stunning grounds
A comfortable stay in a stunning property right next to the Garden of the Gods. Breakfast was good, but the surroundings were the star. It is a huge property used as a Christian retreat with a castle and about 10 lodges. It features red rocks like the Garden of the Gods and many hiking trails from easy to difficult within the property. Excellent staff too.

Fantastic property with a great breakfast
This wonderful property was peaceful, safe and offered a complete hot breakfast. The property has a number of fantastic trails that rival Garden of the Gods but without the crowds. It is a Christian retreat no no alcohol or drugs are allowed which meant the property is very quiet at night. The castle (former home of the founder of Colorado Springs) is a beautiful old building.
