Elegance Wins.

We always choose the Omni William Penn Hotel when we stay in town. Its elegance is a magnet, and the rooms are clean and beautiful, not cookie-cutter hotel rooms. The shower and pillows are great (both of which are high on my ratings list!). Even though I live in Sewickley (11 miles away!), we like to stay in town once in a while just for the adventure of it. Thank you for a terrific night!

Beware because no one cares

When I first checked in I went to my room the top bed spread appeared to have a spot of blood on it I tried to over look it then later on that night I went to take a shower and there was no water pressure so I went down to front desk to tell them that I didn’t have water pressure and said they would look into it never fixed it during my stay I had to shower at my brothers house and at check out the told the young lady and she said that she would pass it along

Charged for a Night we DIDNT even stay!

I booked this room sole to be able to go to the speakeasy. It was for my partners Birthday and we were so excited to stay in a hotel that matched our 1920s theme. I only wish the nice lady that i spoke to on the phone was the person at the front desk that checked us in. I requested Birthday fanfare online that was listed as an additional 60 dollar charge. She had no idea what i was talking about. We get to the room and and after enough time for us to pee, I got a family emergency phone call. Without pause we rushed out and had to go back home to rectify the issue. It was then i reached out to customer service explaining Without going into detail that we would BOT be able to stay in our room anf i was was told she woulf see what she could do and call me back. Not only was that call NOT FOLLOWED up on as promised we were fully charged for a one night room we did NOT STAY IN. Unfortunately in our haste we left with the room cards, but we had to abruptly cut our evening short and were charged anyway. This is sad to say, but true and for that we will think twice about patronage to this establishment. I understand being out our money. But to leave me hopefull openended without a fillow up to let me know if ahe could or couldn't us unacceptable and just plain old bad customer service.

Awful- they refused to handle unruly guest

First let me start with valet services- one morning we called for the car and finally 45 min later we went to the desk and they claimed never to get a call. So next door dash- over $70 in door dash and it was stolen by an identified guest who was also unruly. Security identified her and told us not to worry about it and tell door dash it was stolen and we should get our money back. We then had another incident with the same guest as she ran barefoot and crazy through the lobby being disrespectful and we reported it and yet again nothing was done. This went on for 3 DAYS. Upon checkin the hotel kept swiping my daughter’s card for a security deposit and claimed it wasnt going through. So we gave another card which was swiped multiple times. Then we get a fraud text from the bank showing several hundred dollars withdrawn !!!!! In transactions from the hotel and come to find out it was going through every time she swiped, on BOTH CARDS! My husband then went to the bar one night for a burger and a drink. Over 1 hour later his food was finally brought out and his whiskey looked like water. The waitress advised they were running out of my husband’s preferred whiskey so they were watering it down, I mean SERIOUSLY?!? Honestly this was one of the worst hotel experiences we had. Will definitely NEVER go back. The only nice thing was how they were decorated for the Christmas season.

We got back to the room at 1030 and the TV didn’t work, which happens. But no answer at the front desk on multiple calls, no help on the phone the next day when I told them, and no answer at the text number hotels.com said to use for them. Won’t stay again.
