Lack of professionalism
Although regarded as one of the nicest hotels in London. It lacks any professionalism with the front desk staff or restaurant management. Over 20 guests were checking in ahead of us when we arrived at 3pm. Management could’ve added more staff to accommodate the long line. This didn’t happen and check in took close to an hour. Parking was two blocks away and although cheap at $15. It was inconvenient. Our large suite was on the second floor, we highly recommend this upgrade. After a late night at the Rock The Park concert we awoke at 10:30 to no food available in the hotel. Breakfast ended at 10:30 and the restaurant manager would not facilitate any room service or last minute diners in the restaurant. The executive lounge also did not have any food at 10:30am. Why have an executive lounge if it not accessible for food throughout the day? Our experience was incredibly disappointing. We won’t be staying here again.

I was looking for a place to stay, for my last night of my Ontario trip to visit my son. I picked this property solely because of its integration with the London Armouries, as my son is very interested in Canadian military history. I did not expect a 4 star property. This hotel seamlessly belnded history with modern amenities. Check in was exceptional. The gentleman who checked us in was wonderful. He told us everything we needed to know about our stay, adding that we were able to explore the military gallery on the second floor and also giving us the hint to go to the top floor, for an amazing view at night. Our room was perfect. It had every we needed for our short stay. Beds were very comfortable. When we had a problem with our door key, someone from maintenance came up and fixed the problem in a snap. He even gave us a small chocolate hammer as an apology gift. I had pre-purchased a voucher for breakfast and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, even if you are not interested in the hisoric armouries. Perfect way to end my trip.
