Green Point Hotel is a great place to be at. There's a kind of serenity (which has a family kind of close-knit feel to it) and security within its walls, and which, of course, lends it a home away from home kind of experience. There was cleanliness and professionalism everywhere which is quite commendable. My 7-year-old daughter was quite impressed with the gym and couldn't stay away from it. To me, the most outstanding impression I had was the management's ability to resolve issues in a unique guest-friendly manner. Every issue we had was resolved in a very satisfying and conclusive manner. This is a rare attribute in most Nigerian hotels that I have been to. Having said that, I do believe there's a lot of room for improvement. First, they need to learn how to handle unruly guests who intrude on the peace and the rights of other guests. The guests a few rooms away on my floor in our wing of the hotel kept walking boisterously up and down the hallway and kept blasting music at speaker-rupture levels with their room door partly open for 2 days! How they made such music still remains a mystery to me. I complained about the noise repeatedly but nothing effective was done. We were robbed of valuable sleep, especially just before we flew out on a very long trip. Also, breakfast was usually great but the rest of the menu was too spicy for my family. Please, soften the peppers, etc. and remember to remodel the bathroom to stop water from spilling into the room! Solid hotel, still!
