DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld, Orlando

The staff was very kind. Did not get the room that we booked, and learned that Hilton is unable to guarantee anything booked by a third party. Instead of a delux room, my family was put in an “allergy” room with an air filter (pre filter was due for a changers indicated by a red light on the machine). The staff was very helpful in quickly providing a fridge that is supposed to be included in the delux room, so thank you for the quick action. They offered to change us into a deluxe room, but with a different bed set-up so we elected to stay where we were. After investigating poor sound insulation, I learned that we could see the outside through a gap between the side of the door, and the door frame. Switched to a deluxe room after asking about room availabilities a couple of days later. Delux room was great; more space, much bigger fridge.

It's really a nice place for family They have third party restaurants but they are very nice too Market place is reasonable in price

The room was nothing like the pictures online. The online pictures show the main building which is updated and nice, but when I checked in I was given a room from a secondary building separate from the main building and this was an old rundown motel-like unit with a funny smell inside the room, also the room needed more cleaning the bathroom ceiling had visible mold spots and the bathtub did not drain properly, the wash towels were stained, in filth the door also needed a lot of cleaning. All these dirtiness only drew me to go to a local store and buy towels and pillowcases. Don't think I will stay there again...

It was okay. The room had a moldy smell when I first walked in, the rug was very dirty. The beds were clean and comfy.

I was very disappointed with the 7-day business stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld. This is the worst stay ever for me at "Hilton" branded Hotels. First, they encapsulated motel-like rooms and buildings as a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Resort. Second, they tried to charge me a resort fee: when I was checked in, the front desk explained to me that the extra fees were security deposit to be released to my credit card after check-out; but when I was checked out, the front desk told me that the extra fees were resort fees that I wasn't previously told at all; I was very glad that the front desk removed the extra fees from my account. However, the refund takes 7-10 business days, not as the previous person told me to be released immediately. I guess the difference is between a hold-up charge and an actual charge. Third, the UPS store in hotel forces to receive all mail-in packages for all guests, and forces to charge every package for $12 on the hotel guests, which is hidden from the guests as well without any former notice on the booking information. I strongly urge the refund, however, I could not at this moment. This hotel really ruins the reputation of the brand of DoubleTree by Hilton. Overall, my experience was not good. But I have to say that the hotel people are still kind and helpful.
