Very good - stay away from building 1300
hotel is as it is described, fairly new in feel. We booked two rooms that were adjoining and it was plenty of room for five people. The kitchen is well stocked and has a large refrigerator.
Service was very good, although I think they need another person or two at each pool as the cycle times seemed long in the chair service.
It was not too difficult to get a chair. Unlike many other resorts I have stayed at, which was nice. Both pool areas were large.
All the food we had was good or very good, although somewhat expensive, but maybe what you should expect in Cancun.
Property is located across the street from a large mall with multiple outdoor restaurants.
The only negative is the room they put us in. We booked an ocean view and I would say at best it would be called a partial view on the third floor, there were enormous trees, blocking 3/4 of the ocean view. What was worse is that we were directly next to the hotel next-door and their three very large, enormous rooftop air conditioners that were extremely loud and running 24 hours a day. We simply could not go on the balcony because we could not hear each other talk. The building we were in is 1300 and you should avoid at all costs. It is the worst location of all. I was disappointed because as a VIP member of Hotels.com, I expect that they would put us in a better location. They said they could not do anything to change the room.
