Loved our 1st time to Tokyo
1st time visitors, wasn't sure where to book, was a bit more out of the "city action" than we thought" but still very convenient with shuttle to local train station and 7 -11 around the corner. excellent staff, service and of 4 restaurants out of 6 in house we tried all fabulous. Plus tried a local family owned JapaneseTeppeyanki walking distance from hotel. they didn't speak English we don't speak Japanese but with a few pictures and google translate had a great inexpensive meal; recommended by staff at hotel

Stay in Rihga Royal Hotel
It was a nice experience staying at Rihga Royal Hotel in Shinjuku. Whatever I got experience in the hotel would have been expected. A plus for the hotel facility is that it considers different needs for the guest. I am a smoker. It has a smoking room with chairs inside. It gives the smoker a relax place to enjoy. Personally, the minus is about the area. It is nice as it is close to the Waseda University. May be I am not familiar with the Great Tokyo area. Taking the hotel shuttle bus is my only option.

Very Good8.0
Natalie at the reception area was fantastic and very helpful for restaurants, things to do, and how to get around. The bellmen and doormen were the epitome of class and efficiency. The rooms (especially temp control) are clean but could be a bit more friendly for the foreign tourist who has little Japanese experience.
