Communication - Lacking..!
Arrival - Demand that you hand them your car keys, refuse to provide a ticket to say they have them. This is concerning especially when you have not even checked into the hotel and you are left with zero proof of leaving your keys and anyone could walk up and get the keys to your vehicle with NO proof. Check in - Okay asked for CC as expected and confirmed what wine we wanted in our room. Room - was okay, just tarted up from from the old Langham (Curtains / Wallpaper) and nothing that great for the price. No wine provided other than the bottle already in the room, even waited until 11pm, so opened the wine in the room. Pet peeve, "Coffee" pods, nothing like a quarter cup of warm coffee in the morning. How hard is it to provided with a decent coffee option.!? Check out - Was okay until we got to the mini bar question, said we had used the Red Wine in the room as a bottle was "meant" to be provided, was told verbally the correct bottle was on the coffee table, but none was provided on coffee table. Was told I would not be charged and approved the ‘accommodation only’ charges. Follow Up - Sent @ 7:30pm new invoice with NO communication with new charges that are already taken from the CC along with a Bond (not credited) / Room rate and CC fees. These extra charges are for that bottle of wine that I spoke to reception at checkout about, clearly no messages or communication got though.
