Much better during the busy season

First, the hotel description says “kitchenette”. This consists of a mini frig.- thats it and no access to a microwave at all. So there is no kitchen which was disappointing. There is construction going on everywhere in the hotel. You will hear hammering and smell paint fumes 7 days a week. The walls between units aren’t that thick so my neighbors were a pain. The pool and outdoor hot tubs are not heated so they are useless in the winter time. The description said there are 5 restaurants in the property- but that is only in season. Otherwise there were two restaurants with a limited, pricey menu- you will pay $18 for a cheeseburger without fries. No other restaurants close by- you need a car to get around at this place. However, the spa is awesome, the workout gym is great (cold peppermint towels!) and the customer service was excellent. The ocean/beach and pool views from your balcony are quite wonderful. You can rent bikes nearby too. PS they will take you back to the airport. I could have saved myself a lot of money.
