It Covered Our Needs
We chose H.I. for its location along Santa Catarina in Porto for easy access by walking to just about everything we wanted to visit. We walked a lot!! There is nothing fancy about the hotel but it filled our needs for a good bed, it was quiet, and had a nice shower. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate. What disappointed us was the ugly view out the windows.....back side of apt. buildings. We solved that problem by not opening our curtains! I will say that had we researched a bit better, we might have landed ourselves in some historic hotel that would have enhanced the magic memories of our trip. Priorities.....
