We had booked a standard room which means that our room faced the busy street (California Street), so we heard cable cars screeching up and down, along with the occasional drunken rant. It wouldn’t have been so bad had there not been single pane windows. Parking was incredibly expensive - $145 for 2 nights (taxes were added to the parking rate - increasing it from $64 to $72.50 US per day!) - and we could not access our vehicle but had to go through a valet, who, along with others, kept us waiting 15 minutes, when all the while our car awaited outside. They did not check to see who it belonged to.

Old fancy hotel, good location and easy access everywhere. I asked front desk Hotel breakfast is ‘ $40.00’ but its not. They have some choice. I’m bit disappointment about breakfast. They do not have enough veggies not omelette hot not many item but still have to pay $28 each US. Need bathroom fix for noise. Only one night fine.

Hotel was in a great location for exploring San Francisco. Beds were very comfortable. Our washroom was on the small side but everything else was very good.

Hotel is great, service is top rate. Restaurant (Top of the Mark) has amazing views, a little high on price but worth it. Location is perfect with access to all 3 cable lines and amenities.

Staff needs to be better organized
The staff are inconsistent. We arrive on Dec.27th for five days. Hotel claims we have a two day stay. Hotel realizes their error. Two days later we are locked out of our rooms. An hour later after seeing the original person who admitted to the booking error. Makes us wait in line while taking a call. We had to submit identification and eventually were let back in. When booking for dinner at the hotel we were told first come first serve. We go to the restaurant and were told reseevations are needed first beforehand.

My go to hotel in SFO
I love this hotel. The snoring from the room next to mine was too distracting. Also limited amenities. But this hotel is outstanding otherwise.

Nice rooms with hard beds. Great breakfast
Room was fine and it was quite despite that we were on the pet floor. The beds were very hard. Calling to confirm we could get a pet room was timeconsuming, getting the promised call back only after 4 hours ( by when we already called again) and despite two confirmations it did not seem to be clear at check-in. Room was only stocked with towels for two persons despite the booking being for three persons ( and the extra fee). Best was the breakfast! So much better than any breakfast bag we received at other hotels during this pandemic!
