Pools were not heated!
The pools, which are prominently featured in the advertising for the property, were not heated. This was extremely disappointing and contrary to what the hotel’s website describes.

Hotel was nice. The shuttle to Universal Studios was late due to an accident, so we got to the park late, which shortened our day quite a bit. That wasn't there fault, but they didn't offer a free shuttle back at the closing time of the park so we would have had to leave an hour and a half before closing time if we didn't want to pay for a cab. They should offer a free shuttle when the park closes. One of the staff opened our door at 8:30 am the day of our check out and another staff members kicked our door at 10:30.. check out wasn't until 11. We called to request a late check out and were refused that option. I've always been able to check out an hour later at every other hotel I've stayed at. I would stay somewhere else next time.

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
This hotel was absolutely amazing from check in to check out. I am SO HAPPY with our decision to stay here! The staff on site was wonderful to us and the property was incredibly clean! The rooms were stunning and so comfortable. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an amazing hotel/resort that meets all your needs!

$25 resort fee
We stayed here overnight before heading off to the airport in the early morning. We were there for a total of about 8 hours, and therefore did not get a chance to enjoy any amenities. Be aware, the hotel charges an extra $25 "resort fee." Had we known this, we would not have booked this hotel for our short stay.
