10/10 Exceptional

I have stayed at the Whitehall on three different trips over the couple months. We are Marriott rewards members, bt I am foregoing my points and status to enjoy the Whitehall. I used to stay there as a girl with my Grandparents in the 80s. It was so fashionable. Not much has changed. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. The rooms are spacious and don’t feel like formula decorating for 2922. The bathrooms are beautiful. Enjoy the hotel while your there. There’s a pretty Japanese restaurant that part of the hotel, Do I mention no maid? Apparently they d

The bare necessities.
Older Hotel. No lobby, no amenities, no coffee. No ice. Dorm refrigerator not working. But desirable location to shopping and sites.

Team at the hotel was outstanding … the wallpaper falling apart at my room and the unclear parking available policy made it not a 10 star review.

It was okay...
The service was okay. The receptionist at the desk did not inform me about all of the policies at the hotel. I had even called in the night before asking and ask someone the night before I left and I still wasn't fully informed. My room was kind of dingy. Service was severely delayed. My electronics in my room were not working properly.

Would go back but when it’s warmer outside …
Hotel is very well located, clean with comfortable bed but hotel itself is a little outdated. The heater was very loud, I kept being woken up and it was so cold (even with it on) that I had no option than to keep it on.
