Horrible service. Loud music.
Horrendous. The hotel had a party with loud music on the main floor and the noise traveled up to the 3rd floor where I was staying and could be heard very loud in the hotel rooms. The hotel management wouldn’t do anything about the loud music and prioritized the loud party over the comfort of hotel guests. Was kept up late into the night due to the loud music. This hotel is not what it used to be. It used to be a very elegant traditional British hotel with wonderful service and a quiet place to stay. Not anymore. It was like a nightclub with the loud music! The service in general was also horrific. The room service kept messing up my order. Multiple times. The concierge was not helpful for any reservations and told me to make them myself. Each time I asked for a taxi no one did anything. It was as if they don’t care about hotel guests. I had stayed at the hotel many times before but my loyalty as a customer was ignored. I will never stay there again. I moved to another hotel after a sleepless night due to the loud music. I asked for a refund of that night and never heard from the general manager who was not there at the time but I had been told would contact me the next day. Just horrendous. I do not recommend staying there!!

Mixed Feelings
It is a very cute hotel, but we had numerous little problems that just added up to be frustrating. We called to add one extra night two months prior to our trip. I was told one price. We got there and the price doubled. A few hours later I went to speak to someone else and they said the price was hire because they added 50 pounds for tips a day that I can decide later to use. The next day I was was there is an additional 200 pound hold for if we use any food services. An extra night cost us more than half the 4 original nights booked. The “king” bed was two twins pushed together with a big dent in the middle of the bed. There was barely any room to fit the ironing board to iron a suit. The people who service you there are impeccably nice though which was the hotels saving grace. Some of the best employees I have seen at a hotel.

Valentines Day treat
We went for Valentines Day and had the best time. The staff were attentive but not overly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay there again as the hotel was within 15 minutes walking distance of the theatre district as we were booked in to see Moulin Rouge. We also ate in the hotel's own Butlers restaurant where the food and service was excellent.
