Second time and still great!
Thank you Tom and Julie for another great stay. The house was pristine and full of amenities. The house is in a great location a short drive from New Paltz and local attractions and restaurants. The master is very large and comfortable, and the second room has two twins that is perfect for kids. They also provided a list of recommended restaurants that was right on (we tried 3 of the restaurants and all were great). The hosts were very gracious and allowed for a late check out. Hope to be back soon!

Stay at La Luna
We had such a wonderful time. The property is clean, beautiful, and light-filled. The yard is gorgeous and relaxing, the farm is amazing, and the location is perfect. Julie and Tom were so responsive and helpful. We would recommend this to anyone!

Relaxing and lovely
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Schoolhouse Cottage. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, with plenty of outdoor space which our 2 and 7 year old loved for playing ball in the yard after our day’s activities. The neighborhood is also great for running, biking, or walking. We visited Kelder’s Farm and hiked at Minnewaska State Park. We met Julie and Tom when we walked to meet the donkeys and horses (the farm was beautiful) and they were friendly and helpful. We’d love to return!

Lovely cottage
This was a last minute plan by me and my friend to take our boys on a trip for spring break since our other plans fell through. We couldn’t have picked a better place to go. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, close to both the town and hiking trails. We enjoyed walking to the farm, exploring the paths around the pastures and seeing the horses. My friend and I enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, sipping the wine that Tim and Julie left us as a welcome present.

Cozy house /stunning scenery/endless local things to do
Perfect vacation home for family of 4 or 5. We enjoyed the hosts’ farm and the surrounding area for our summer vacation. If we are lucky enough to return we would certainly want to stay in this same house, and would love to experience another season. We were there for a week and never ran out of things to do. (Hiking, swimming, biking and their local county fair). The owners provide a cozy thoughtfully filled home and a long list of recommendations of things to do in the area.

Schoolhouse cottage
We loved staying here - it was so quaint but plenty of space. There were plenty of warm blankets and the shower worked well. I wish there was a garbage disposal but other than that- perfect !!

Perfect weekend getaway
The schoolhouse was perfect for a weekend getaway - it has everything you need (linens, towels, pots/pans etc.)! Tom and Julie left us coffee beans and half and half in the fridge as well as a bottle of wine when we arrived! We enjoyed seeing the horses on the farm, and hiking in Minnewaska State Park!

Awesome Place!
We had a wonderful time! Tom & Julie have a welcoming cottage with so many thoughtful touches. The house was very homey and clean. Can't think of anything that they missed. We enjoyed feeding the horses and donkeys and walking the farm. Lots of hiking nearby. Would love to return in the summer or fall as the area is beautiful! Highly recommend!!!
