Charming, convenient, New Year's weekend getaway
Excellent, central hotel choice for New Year's weekend getaway, right by the Westlake Center, Seattle Convention Center, and right off the I5. We were able to just leave our car in the valet to check-in, then get good street parking in the area, so saved on paying for hotel valet (which is not expensive for hotel valet prices in the area, especially given the Seattle parking situation, but we were happy enough to leave our car on the street overnight for free). Service was excellent - right from the wine happy hour in the lobby upon check-in, to all of our interactions through front desk and cleaning. The room was charming, newly remodeled, tastefully decorated, but on the smaller side. As such, it didn't have any desk or chairs inside - however we phoned front desk for a few chairs to be bought up and the request was immediately fulfilled with 2 stack-able style conference chairs which did the job. The hotel is still going through some renos, including a new restaurant. We received a courtesy letter from hotel management about the potential noise disruptions from the construction work, which was a considerate touch, but we were not disrupted at all during the stay, likely because we were out of the room. The Nespresso machine in the room provides great coffee, however a choice of teas would also be advantageous. They try to have coffee and tea served in the lobby too, though the hours on those were unpredictable. The lobby has a nice seating area.

Grate location
We had to change our room when we checked in because it was so small and you could not move around in the bathroom. We were immediately upgraded to a great room. the clock was broken in the room. Our friends had a room near ours and they had a tiny bathroom with a huge fan that never stopped working. They had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times because of the noise of the fan. When they mentioned this to reception they were told it was part of the hotel system, it was normal but it would stop during the night which it didn't. When we

Cosy, older era, nicely renovated with some charm.
Accurate with reviews I had read. Nice renovated room but in an older building. Good looking room, cool lamps, comfy and huge bed, nice bathroom but a little cramped. Nespresso machine is a nice touch. Kind of loud aircon, but no issues with the overall temperature. Elevators were slow and mostly only 1 available due to maintenance/renovating on certain floors. Overall I liked it's charm, a blend of old fashioned with some modern touches.

Not worth the price
Major construction going on! The room looked like someone just moved into a new apartment and hadn't unpacked yet. Jack hammering at 900 am woke us up. No restaurant or room service
