    It is in such a safe neighborhood that when there was a fire in the hotel, 8 firetrucks showed up. Also being so close to the hospital had quite a few ambulances passing in the middle of the night that could be heard in the room.

    A special Birthday Gift

    I came for two nights with my son on his birthaday. When we arrived I mentioned to the staff at the fron t desk that it was his birthday ( much to his dismay as I was telling everyone and he was getting embarassed by his overly emotional & proud dad :) After some wonderful birthday well wishes from the staf at the desk we headed out to see the city. When we arrived back in our room there was a beautiful cake with his name on it and a card addressed to "Little Mr Daye" his eyes lit up and he was so excited and appreciative. It meant a lot to both him and I that you all were able to do something like that and i cant thank you enough. Please let your staff know how much that meant and i will certainly recommend your hotel to anyone heading into the Boston area. Thanks so much

    The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Every single interaction with them was a positive and pleasant one. We were in for a bruins game and this hotel is situated just 10 minutes away on foot...we will be returning here for sure!!

    There was a large stain on the lounge chair in our room so I needed to put a towel over it before sitting down. Was not comfortable with not having a bathroom door that I could lock. The mattresses were old and woke up sore everyday. I am assuming that we may have received their lower quality rooms because of booking through Expedia because our room did not reflect previous positive reviews that I had read. It was nice to receive complimentary bottles of waters daily but we had no refrigerater to keep it chilled which I think all hotels should have available. There was a street person living outside of the hotel - had their pillow and blankets set up on te sidewalk. Last day at hotel we looked out the window to see 2 Boston police cars and a Crime Scene Investigation van pulled up in front of hotel. We were expecting much more for a 4 star hotel and were overall disappointed. :(
