Great Hotel!

This hotel is terrific and I would stay here again. There is a place to pull in and unload so your not dealing with a busy city street, there is on site parking with in and out privileges which is so convenient. A lot of sites within walking distance. If you’re visiting the historic district there is no closer hotel. There is an on site restaurant and bar. Rooms were large and comfortable. And there’s a pool! Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Very Dirty

Dirty everywhere. I wouldn’t stay here again. Our bathroom had hair all on the edge of the shower. And there was sticky stuff on the bathroom floor. The hand towel was crusty and looked like someone wiped their mouth on it. The floor in the hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. The air didn’t work very well and the hot water was horrible.

Parking Issues

Room and hotel, overall, were fine, however, even with the AC set at 65, our room was very hot. Only 1 of 3 elevators was working, which made check-out harder. Our biggest issue was parking. First, the front desk did not explain what to do when we parked, so we had to pay $40 for parking when we went out the first time (knowing we'd have to pay again when we returned). When we got back, late at night, the garage was full and we were given a card with other parking options. So, my husband who just had surgery and I had to pay for parking again and walk several blocks back to the hotel in the middle of the night. Had we known there was limited parking, due to construction, we would have chosen a different hotel. At least an apology would have been nice.

When my husband checked in, he was given a room that already had someone staying in it. When we finally had a room for us, the TV barely worked. Half the channels were unavailable. The carpet in the hallway of the 6th floor is also covered in stains.

WE loved this hotel, especially due to its location. Very walkable to historic sites and many restaurants. The staff was amazing, very friendly, and wanted to meet our needs. The beds were extremely comfortable!! Very safe area as well. Would stay here again!!

Most of the staff were really nice. Property was a little dated but ok, though the bed didn't treat my back very well. All in all, stay was OK, location is good. Breakfast was incredibly mediocre for 20, definitely wouldn't do that again.

Some god some not so much.

The reataurant menu was limited. Some mold/dirt. in the seal in the floor around the toilet. It was quiet and parking was easy.
