Convenient for downtown
Staff were excellent. Check in was easy & fast. Older hotel, had that stuffy old smoke smell. Our room was nice and it was obvious that they are trying to keep things new and fresh. The washroom ceiling is made up of old tiles and the tub is well worn with scuffs and marks in it. The ceiling fan rattled the entire time we were there. The beds and pillows were very comfy - we slept well with the use of a white noise app on my phone - we could hear the folks in the next room. We were disappointed that the pool was so chilly and the hot tub was out of service. Location was perfect for an early morning appointment I had nearby. Noon checkout was nice and left us feeling like we did not have to rush.

Never stay here regardless of price
The location was very very scary. Not at all what I would have expected. It was a terrible part of town. I had random people knocking on my door at night and slaming against the door two nights in a row. The restaurant service and quality was awful. There was only one of other person in the restaurant and the waitress running around like it was full. She was irritated that she had to serve me and demonstrated as such by rolling her eyes when I asked for a menu and having to make a pot of coffee. When she served my toast she threw it down on the table so a piece feel on the floor which she picked up and put back on the plate - not apologizing. After that I went to the til, paid my bill and went across the street to a different restaurant and ate. I will never be back there.

Mini vacation
Everything was good. Close to everything downtown. Staff was very helpful. Only drawback was the restaurant. We ate there once for breakfast. My meal was okay, wife’s breakfast was not good, eggs not cooked to order, meal made her vomit, literally. We chose not to eat there anymore during our 4 day stay.

Great location and very clean.
The hotel was clean. The bed was very luxurious. The sheets and towels were very nice as well. The toilet was very loud and the noise lasted a very long time after flushing. Location is ideal and near everything we wanted to see.

Poor service
when We checked the girl at the front desk wasn’t very pleasant. We than get our room the a/c isn’t working. It was like 25 in our room. Took over an our for them to come get a/c working than in the morning we had no power in our room. A breaker went I guess and they came fixed way quicker than the a/c. If this wasn’t so close to the MTS centre I wouldn’t of stayed there. Chances are I probably won’t stay there again.

Con artists
I wasn’t able to make it and had my girlfriend going to check into the room for me. They refused to let her place a cash deposit, insisting it needed to be a credit card. Customer service online had told me they would accept cash. Ended up not being able check in to a room that they wouldn’t refund. This hotel is a scam.
