    Great location and good amenities

We had a wonderful stay, and enjoyed all the amenities provided at this property. The pool could use better treatment as it turned a green color and was unusable by the end of our stay but otherwise was a great experience.

    Beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable!

We had a lovely time! The house is spacious and the lovely porches were much enjoyed by everyone. We were fortunate to have low humidity and high 80s temperatures. The walk to the beach is short and manageable by young and old alike. The neighborhood is very nice. Overall, we had a marvelous visit! Dog Owners: If you're bringing dogs, Seagreass Circle is excellent for walking them, as well as the beach, of course. The house doesn't have an actual fenced in yard as shown in the pics. The pool is fenced with a very small area where a dog might relieve itself. The previous tenants had not cleaned up after their dogs so we had a rather pungent odor for a day or so (after we cleaned up their waste). Our dogs would not use this area so we were obliged to walk them for all necessary bio needs. Also, there are very sharp burr-things in the yards and brush of Seagrass Circle. Keep an eye out for your dog if he/she starts limping. We removed four or five during our stay from their paws. No injuries to the dogs, btw.

    Beautiful home. Clean and welcoming!

Beautiful beach house. I am going to write a very honest review. We LOVED our stay here. I will truthfully include pros and cons. Wish it was closer to the ocean. It wasn’t far by any means, but it sure was a long, hot, five minute walk. The pool was nice to have, yet if you are making your choice based on having a pool (like we did) don’t let it be the determining factor. The pool water was VERY hot, felt like a giant bathtub. There was never a comfortable time to get in it. The house itself was very welcoming. The beds were super comfortable with cool, soft, clean linens and clean summery cotton comforters. Bathrooms were nice, except zero water pressure. Two of our days were spent with NO WATER. We were told the entire Cape was out bc they are refilling the tanks. Our neighbors had water, though...? Also, the third full bath is in the garage, so in essence you only have 2.5 bathrooms in the house. Definitely bring your own towels, detergents, soap(s), trash bags, napkins, coffee filters, toilet paper, etc... The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, pans, utensils, blender, etc. You will want for nothing in that regard, and you will wish you had some of their items at your own house! The wrap around porches are a dream :) Beautiful breezes and lovely views. Loved that we could pull into the garage with the storage bin on top of our SUV. Oh! Don’t forget to get the CODE for the entrance gate!!! Our car was locked out until we got the code! And there is no cell phone receptivity to call for assistance. The fenced in back yard has large gaps in it, so your dogs can EASILY get out. It is mainly brickle burrs and sand which produced significant challenges for our poor boxer. As far as Cape Life, prepare to be very laid back. Beautiful beach, beautiful parks, fabulous bike paths, very limited eateries, yet an abundance of fresh seafood for you to prepare at home. The little grocery store a few blocks from the house was amazingly well stocked. The other one by the gas station further up, not so good. Piggly Wiggly is about 30 minutes away to do a major stock-up. The crowning glory of our stay was witnessing a sea turtle come to shore to check out the dunes. It was magical to watch her make her way back into the ocean. Every evening our sunset walks on the beach were filled with some type of thrill. The kids enjoyed the nightly bonfires on the beach :) All in all, lovely home, sad to have to leave it!!!

    Very spacious home!

This home was beautiful and very spacious! The walk to the beach wasn't bad at all. The garage area was great for our jeep since we took the top off, which was great fun! I loved the house. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a better pots and pans set and a more secured yard ( it had large spaces under the fence that my dogs could have gotten out of), but I would definitely rent this house again and recommend it to others. You won't be disappointed.

    Spring Break Success

House was much bigger than we expected- the kitchen/family room area was great, as well as the wrap around porches. Having the garage with ping pong, etc was a blessing when it rained. Master suite was so huge! NatRetreats was diligent in working on internet for us. Kitchen is sparsely stocked- could use more mixing bowls, larger stockpots (boiling seafood), and dishtowels. There were no pens/pencils, scissors, tape, etc in the house, so we purchased a few items.

    Wonderful House in Great Location

Aus-Seas Haven was a perfect house for our family vacation. It is in a great location within a quiet community of other homes. It is located on a small side road which was perfect for our young children to be able to cycle around the small loop within the community which they really enjoyed.Although it is situated next to the main road behind the house, we did not notice the road one bit during our whole stay so do not be put off by this home being next to the road. The house is within a couple of minutes easy walk to the beach, which was a quiet and wide part of the beach even when the tide was in. Inside the house was spacious, light, modern and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were really comfortable as well!!We would definitely stay at this house again and highly recommend it!

    Bang for the buck

My family, two friends, and our dog stayed in late July 2019. The house was in a gated community in a corner position, and access to the beach was close and easy. While the home was perfect for our party of 7 and our dog, there are two recommendations for opportunity. Not sure why there is a charge for a heated pool when the light was out and half full of water. While this did not affect our pool fun, it did cut it short as the sun went down, as it was dark with no other lighting outside for night pool swimming. The other recommendation is the fridge ice maker not working. This also was not that much of a big deal. We simply bought a bag of ice at the store and filled the ice tray. The house was not as clean as the wife expected, I was not inspector gadget and was satisfied considering it’s a pet friendly home. This was cleaner than some we have stayed in at the cape over the years. I would recommend this home to others and would be happy to stay during future trips, as we come to the cape every year.
