Review
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room cleanliness was not good. Food particles under tv stand, bathroom floor had hair and dust and bottle of cleaner left in shower. Almost looked like housekeeping stopped to take a break and did not return. I notified front desk who asked to retrieve bottle of cleaner, apologized and said he would notify housekeeping. Heard nothing further.

Needs better management
The stay was very disappointing. Check in was a hassle. The lot I was told to park in said that they did not allow over night parking. I HAD to use valet. The room was very run down and dirty. The curtains were shredded, trim broken off the wall, and there was dog paw prints on the blankets. Among other things we could not get connected to the wifi. It said that we did not have a reservation. There was EXTREMELY loud partying on time floor at 3 am. Very disappointed with this hotel and had a stressful stay. I have taken photos but unable to upload them on this site.

Cleanliness issues
Hotel is conveniently located in historic area and close to River Street. Rooms are worn and not very clean, there was a giant blood clot in my toilet when I first entered the room, gross. It was NYE night, hotel was extra busy so I just let it go but that was just icky. Water station in lobby was empty with cups strewn everywhere. It’s hard to know where to fall opinion wise on this place. It was easy to walk anywhere I wanted to go, but the cleanliness for the price wasn’t acceptable. I’d stay somewhere else if I could re-do this visit to Savannah. Folks at bar in lobby were being grossly over served, slurring words and clearly intoxicated they ordered more shots and continued to be served. It was NYE and of course people will have fun but from a moral and liability standpoint I sure hope those folks were headed straight to bed and weren’t driving anywhere.

Rough Stay
We unfortunately could not check in until almost 6:30 PM because our room wasn’t ready. Upon checking in, it was very hot in the room. We then realized that we didn’t have any air conditioning. We let the front desk know but unfortunately it was such a busy night there was nothing they could do about it. I’ve stayed at this property a few times and it was great. This time was awful due to the air conditioning issue and slow check in. The only positive was the valet service was great.
