Check in was long and unwelcoming by the staff. I felt like a bother by needing to simply check in. Stood in line awaiting my turn and others walked up in front of me and were helped. I was given my key and room number and never told where to find it just here’s your room number and had to search for the room. When I asked about the shuttle pick up I got “yeah sure”. It was weird. Property was nice, shuttle was easy. Quick stay for early flight out.

Amateur operation
Hotel shuttle never showed up to pick us up. So we had to find our own way and the taxi driver tried to scam us by asking if we were interested in going to his “friends” hotel for a cheaper rate once we got in the cab. During check in they forgot to scan my passport so had to wake us up and hour later at 1am to make copies of our passport.

Good if you need to stay near airport.
Good for the purpose of staying near the airport. Free shuttle very handy, make sure to arrange it before you arrive, hotel is at the airport but you need to drive to get there. Late room service was bad, very long wait and contaminated food that we sent back. We got complimentary breakfast in return which was a nice gesture. Breakfast was very good quality.

Stayed there twice (on the way in and out). Everything was good. The food is not amazing and you won't have other options when you are there. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Shuttle is easy when leaving the hotel, but not when leaving the airport.

Receptionist untrained, shuttle info missing
Reception doesn't like to pick up the phone. We called almost 50 times to get to the reception to ask about the shuttle service. Even after we got to the reception, we were told to call that same number when we arrive to get the shuttle to pick up. Little that we know that shuttle runs on schedule every 30 minutes. So when we arrived, we called about 20 times to get through the line only to be given wrong info again that we had to call 15 minutes ahead to get the shuttle. There should be a clear message on the website, or hotels.com, or any sites providing info about the shuttle schedule so people don't have to call the number that no on respond and have to pay for international call. The hotel receptionist should be trained to give us the right info instead of sending us in a loop. At the end we were scammed at the airport by some gov. official pretended to help us call the hotel driver and ask for tip, while the shuttle eventually showed up and the driver told us about the schedule. Otherwise, check in process was slow and inefficient. there were smokers in the lobby. Not a good experience for Novotel brand
