Nice Place to Stay in Downtown Dallas
The hotels seems to have gone through a renovation in the not too distant past. It was very well done, room was amazingly clean and comfortable. Also, location was perfect to get around to anything you want to do in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

I came to town to attend the Mecum auction for 4 days. Enjoyed my stay very much at the hotel but was really disappointed in the fact that their was no parking at the hotel and that the parking I did get was 4 blocks away and that I had to pay $45 with a very small discount from the hotel.

Good location - some adjustments for improvement
I understand that they are doing some work on the lobby. But the battery chirp for the fire alarm was going off over the course of 3 days in the lobby which I found odd. There is an unpleasant smell in the lobby. At breakfast they do not offer water at all. And there is no music playing like you would hear in other hotels so that conversations are not shared with everyone eating breakfast. My room was nice despite being small (which is expected). All bathroom stuff worked perfectly and the staff was very nice. Hopefully after the renovations, they can make the lobby a bit more inviting.
