8/10 Very good

Good with a few quirks
The bed was way too soft and the dual blanket system was awful. The shower with no door, but just a half wall led to a soaking wet bathroom floor. We had to request several more towels to clean the mess up. It’s a nice place with great staff, but change the shower doors and put one comforter on the bed.

Would def stay here again!
Road-trip to Portland from the Bay Area. We just happened to be along their parade route, and hot to see all the rose parade floats. Think New Years rose parade on a much smaller scale. Yet still pretty as can be. The hotel clerk that checked is in was amazing. Not only cause we were Expedia/ gold members he upgraded our room to a balcony, and free parking! Rooms was great, highly recommend as it is pretty centrally located. Rooms were clean, got everything you could expect with “staypineapple” will stay here again.

10/10 Exceptional

Our stay was perfect, the hotel was clean, friendly staff and super cute! Our issue was with the city of Portland, there was a fair, parade and 5K in the area with almost every other road closed it took us 2 hours to get to our hotel even though we were literally blocks away, this was to no fault of the hotel at all as we called them to see if anyone there had a better route to help us get there, the person we spoke to was so helpful, if you plan to stay in Portland check for other things going on in the area and road closures.

6/10 Good

Our first night there we saw a rat in the lower parking garage, one of our towels were dirty, there was hair in the bathrobes and the door would not close fully. The staff was very friendly and helpful and pleasant however, but parking in the garage is unsafe and prime spots go quickly so I am unsure I would stay there again.

Great staff and location
I visit Portland pretty regularly and this was my first stay at this hotel, which was easily the best. Fantastic service, really nice and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and their duvets and towels are much softer than most hotels. The rooms are nice but I think could use a refresh, which the staff informed me was in the works. The rooms have plenty of power outlets and stable free wifi capable of video calls. The location is fantastic, so much is available with just a few minutes of walking and tons of great places deliver directly to the room. This small chain of hotels is quirky and works hard to differentiate itself from the behemoths out there. They deserve your business!
