Good Restaurants, Hotel was mediocre for cost.
Arrival frustrating, if you come in one of the to entrances there is 0 signage for the lobby being upstairs. Air conditioning loud. Lights in room all needed individual switching. Poor offering of toiletries. Friendly staff and excellent on site restaurants.

Great place to stay in Oahu
The hotel is on the beach and convenient to all of the attractions and restaurants in Waikiki. Room was good but the bathroom was quite tight. Bed was also a bit hard for our liking. Room otherwise was clean, had a nice view with a balcony. Amenities were great with restaurants on site, including the famous Duke’s. We had breakfast in Dukes every morning as it was included in the room rate. The buffet was very nice with all you could ask for and kept fresh. There was a nice pool although a bit tight seating. However, the beach is right outside the pool and restaurant.

Amazing experience!
We stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort for one night on a long layover, and their hospitality made the experience amazing. They had a room ready early, so we were able to check in - which was so needed after an overnight flight from Japan. We ate dinner at the Hula Grill - which was wonderful - and relaxed on the beach. The next day we were able to store our bags with the bellmen, still use towels at the beach, and use the hospitality room to shower before heading to the airport again. This post check-out hospitality really made our trip easy and wonderful.

Great Beach Hotel
We love staying at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. It's in a great, central location and it's right on the beach. We had 5 rooms for our family and we all loved it. I've been staying here for the past 50 years and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The rooms are probably ready for an update, but it's clean, spacious and comfortable.

Great location, decent hotel, good value for the $
For a very busy location and lower lobby that fed into a popular restaurant - Duke's - once you got up even just one floor it felt like a decent hotel. The elevator security system that required using your room key at the call button which directed your elevator car to your floor (no buttons inside the elevator to change your mode) was actually quite reassuring that only guests were getting above the lobby. We had a city view with a nice slice of ocean view included and everything about the room was fine. No luxury, but good value for the money compared to pricing of hotels on either side. Would stay again, but would also consider trying something else. The location really is the biggest draw though. Great beach right at the hotel and on the street side it is in the center of it all. A walk in either direction gets you all the Waikiki action you can possibly desire.
