Short trip to Hawaii
The room were not cleaned properly. When we check in, we saw peanut under the chair, lid of shampoo bottle in bathroom. They have communal microwave and I understand that you should clean after using, but there were crumbs under the microwave, inside of microwave was dirty. Microwave also doesn’t seem to be industrial type, it took a long time to heat up food and a lot of people lining up. Swimming pool is nothing to brag about it’s pretty small and it’s pretty much indoor. But at least the hotel is close by the beach… It’s nice to have water filtration system there though, so you don’t have to buy water. Plumbing, OMG plumbing is pretty bad. For a quick 5 minute shower, it will take 30 minutes for the bathtub to drain. Imagine taking a long shower to wash your hair - water filled up to half the tub and took 40-45 minutes to drain. Something about the chairs in the room, we got bug bites after sitting on them. Make sure to cover with plastic or something before sitting. They have coin laundry area - pretty basic. 3 washers, 1 was broken - price varies. 3 dryers $4.75 per cycle of 57 minutes of drying. They have parking - $35 per night for hotel guest. Be careful going up, the drive way is pretty small and very steep and sharp turns.

Hotel Malia was in a great location near the beach, shops, and restaurants. Rooms were updated. Service was delivered daily and we always returned to a clean room.

Good stay but hotel needs some improvements.
Hotel rooms and interior looks new and morden.But room and bathroom space was very small. Air-conditioning was splashing water droplets every time it turns on. Bedsheets was teared nubmer of times after room service. Shower curtains were durty and smelling. Need exhaust fan in bathroom. Because of water steam water has started accumulated on the ceiling and started dripping over time.
